I have had the great fortune of entering into correspondence with the grandson of Wallys guardians,the Hatfields.Nick has known of Phil since he was six and was very interested in the work I do.He has supplied me with scans of a great number of cards that Phil sent home while travelling the world.He was an extra  in a film made on the island,details can be found here
